DOUBLE BILL PERFORMANCE
We are presenting both plays – Wendy & Peter Pan and Shakers Re-stirred as a Double Bill. Each is a one-act performance with an interval between the two shows.
Shakers Re-stirred contains some mature themes. We therefore recommend a minimum age of 12 years for these performances.
WENDY & PETER PAN
Performed by Sharpe's First and Second Year Diploma students.
Wendy is off with Peter Pan to Neverland for an awfully big adventure. She'll have to contend with a fractious fairy called Tink, give the Lost Boys a run for their money, and face up to the dastardly Captain Hook and his pirate crew. And along the way she'll have the chance to recover her parents' happiness and learn what it means to grow up.
Ella Hickson's radical re-telling of J.M. Barrie's much-loved story puts Wendy centre stage in an adaptation that is refreshingly modern whilst never losing the charm of the original.
Performed by Sharpe's graduating Third Year Diploma students.
Every town has its Shakers, the oh-so trendy cocktail bar where everyone wants to be seen. We are given a wickedly funny glimpse of this world by the four long-suffering waitresses, offering a fascinating view of the reality that lurks behind the plastic palms and Piña Coladas in this revised version of John Godber's ever-popular play.
These special Company Double Bill tickets are priced at just £5 for Northwood Company & London Company students.
We will not be issuing printed tickets for these performances. Instead, we will have an 'Attendee List' on the door and you will be checked in on arrival. Seats are not numbered so you can sit in any available position.
We are limited to 24 audience members for each performance.
